How it works

Three steps, and we do two of them

You load the container. That is the only part we leave to you. We handle the delivery, the lifting, the hauling, and the storage, and we tell you the price before any of it starts.

The process

We deliver, you load, we move or store it

Here is the whole thing, start to finish.
01  We deliver
We bring the container to your driveway and set it flat at ground height. Nothing to climb, no ramp, no rental truck to reserve. Tell us where you want it and we will put it there if the access allows.
02  You load
Take an afternoon or take a month. It sits on your property and you have your own key. Load at 6am on a Saturday if that is when you have help.
03  We move or store
Call us when you are done. We haul it to our secure facility, or straight to your new address anywhere in southeast Michigan.

What we need to get it into your driveway

Almost every driveway works. The two things worth checking before you book are overhead clearance and the approach.
  • A clear, reasonably level spot. Concrete, asphalt, or compacted gravel all work. Soft ground after heavy rain is the usual problem.
  • Room for the truck to line up. We need a straight approach as well as room for the container itself.
  • Overhead clearance. Low branches, power lines, and basketball hoops catch more deliveries than anything else. Look up before you book.
  • Cars moved out of the way. If the container is going where you normally park, we will need that space clear on the day.
  • A quick photo of the spot. Text it to us and we will confirm the placement before delivery day.
Winter deliveries
We deliver year round in Michigan. Snow changes two things: the driveway has to be cleared before we arrive, and some cities restrict overnight street parking in winter, which matters if the container cannot go on private property.

Plan for the driveway and winter takes care of itself.
Why a container

Why people choose a container over a truck

You load once instead of twice, on your own schedule instead of in a single day, and the container stays locked in your driveway the whole time.
A rental truck has to be picked up, loaded in one go, driven, then returned. A container is set down at ground level and left with you. If your dates move, it stays longer. If the new place is not ready, we store it and bring it when you are.
Common questions

Answers before you have to ask

How far ahead should I book?
Often a couple of business days is enough, and sometimes same week. If your date is fixed, book as early as you can.
Can I move the container once it is on my property?
Please do not. It is heavier than it looks and moving it risks damaging your driveway and whatever is inside. Call us and we will reposition it.
What if my closing date moves?
Keep it. Rentals are month to month and we adjust the billing rather than charging you to reschedule.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Ask when you book. It depends on the week and where you are in the service area.
What can I not put in it?
Anything hazardous, flammable, perishable, or alive. Beyond that, standard household and business goods are fine.

Ready for a container in your driveway?

Tell us what you’re storing and where it’s going. You’ll get a flat, all-in price from someone who lives here, usually the same business day.
